Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No. WordPressDirect is a pay-as-you-go service.
There are no long term contracts of commitments on your part. You
simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel, you’ll be billed for
the current month, but you won’t be billed again.


Are there per-site fees?

No. The prices you see above are all inclusive.
Every WordPressDirect plan includes a set limit of sites, with the same
fee regardless of how many you use.


What types of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept PayPal, Visa, and Mastercard. At this time
we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O.,
invoice you, or take an order over the phone.


Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. Simply click on the “Membership” tab on your dashboard and you’ll see your options.


How long is my 30DC FREE trial?

As part of our standard promotion, you will receive
a 40 day Free trial to our Bronze, Silver or Gold account level.
If you cancel, your account will become a lifetime Free account,
and some account features will be suspended.  You can upgrade to a
paid accout again in the future.  If you do not cancel , you will
be billed for your first month as shown above.


Our complete 30-day guarantee…

If you cancel a paying plan within 30 days of
signing up you will not be charged. If you do choose to cancel your
account in the future you will never be charged again, but you are
responsible for charges already incurred up until your cancellation. We
do not prorate refunds for partial months.


Do I get the 30-day guarantee if I upgrade?

If you upgrade from a free account to a paid
membership you are not eligible for the 30-day guarantee. The guarantee
only applies for new signups on our premium memberships. You can always
downgrade later if you choose.


I’m no longer allowed to install websites on your hosting.
Why don’t you offer hosting anymore?

We have discontinued our free hosting service. This was a feature that we developed for the 2008 30 Day Challenge so that students following the course would be able to get started quickly with little trouble. Your existing websites on our servers will not be affected.

The blogs we were hosting were on shared domains, which meant that when one person violated Google’s code of conduct, many of our customers would immediately be blacklisted from Google. Requiring each customer to provide their own unique domain is the only way to resolve this issue, so you will need to sign up with a hosting service to host your websites.


Does your Terms of Service give you ownership of my content?

No. Our Terms of Service Agreement does not give us ownership of any of your content.


Are the autoposters available to Free members?

No. The content software is no longer available to free members.


What are the minimum requirements to install sites with WPD?

You will need a hosting account with one of our supported hosts.
There is a list of compatible hosts here: http://ask.wpdirect.com/question/159/which-hosting-companies-do-you-support-.html . Your hosting must have a minimum space allocation of 30MB and if you are using cPanel, make sure that you have database access.


Can I use WordPressDirect with a WordPress site I already have?

Yes you can! To use an existing WordPress site, make sure it is on a supported hosting company. If it is, simply import the site into WPDirect.com using the Import Existing Website link at the top of the WPD Dashboard.
